Strategy

Through deep brand work, we discovered the uniqueness of SAXX’s corporate culture: their obsession with solving the universal physical discomfort all men experience: Discomfort with their balls. SAXX is the only brand (at least that we’re willing to mention) that thinks about men’s balls 24/7. So we saw our job as giving SAXX the cojones to embrace what they actually do.

Solution

Even in our body-positive culture, you can't show how the BallPark Pouch™ actually works. So SAXX did what scared brands do—they hid behind tech specs. Predictably, nobody gave cared. We asked: What if SAXX stopped acting like engineers and started talking like humans? It's not science. It's a hammock. For his balls. So we did something radical in the men's underwear space—we showed balls. Sport balls secured by the pouch. We launched an omni channel campaign that said the quiet part loud, turning product confusion into crystal-clear benefit. We created a platform that transformed any cultural moment involving male discomfort into a brand opportunity.

There are still conversations around masculinity that are culturally taboo to talk about. SAXX needed a way to initiate them. Meet Richard — the personified brand character whose coming-of-age innocence makes his observations about the world both funny and insightful.

A lesson in anatomy

SAXX invented the BallPark Pouch™ but struggled to explain it. We contextualized the technology clearly: a hammock-shaped pouch inside underwear for a more comfortable way to carry male anatomy. This visual asset was the unlock that delivered transformative brand results—both in perception and growth.
